Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Seller Lens LLC collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use SellerLens, including the website, account portal, Chrome extension, backend services, subscription features, support channels, and related services.
We do not sell personal information. We use personal information to operate SellerLens, secure accounts, process billing, provide support, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, account status, login events, password reset events, and email verification status.
- Billing information: subscription tier, billing interval, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, checkout sessions, setup sessions when trials or trial credits are offered, invoices, payment status, trial status where applicable, and limited payment-method metadata from Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
- Abuse-prevention information: eligibility signals and protected payment-method fingerprint records designed to prevent billing abuse, including repeat trial abuse where trials are offered, without storing raw payment fingerprints.
- Extension and scan information: ASINs collected from Amazon pages you choose to analyze, page context needed to run a scan, scan results, credit usage, product data returned by providers, and export-related data generated in your browser.
- Technical and log information: IP address, request metadata, browser and device information, error logs, security logs, audit logs, server events, and approximate timestamps.
- Support information: messages you send to us, your email address, attachments or context you provide, and our responses.
- Local browser storage: the website and extension may store session tokens, refresh tokens, preferences, and extension state in browser storage or Chrome extension storage.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create, authenticate, and secure accounts;
- send verification, password reset, service, and billing-related messages;
- operate the Chrome extension, process scans, return analysis results, and enforce credit limits;
- create and manage subscriptions, checkout, cancellations, invoices, billing portal sessions, and trial setup or eligibility where available;
- detect, prevent, and investigate fraud and abuse, including repeat trial abuse where trials are offered, security incidents, and policy violations;
- debug errors, monitor performance, maintain infrastructure, and improve SellerLens features;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate SellerLens, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a transaction you request. Service providers may include:
- Authentication and database providers such as Supabase;
- Payment processors such as Stripe;
- Hosting and infrastructure providers such as deployment, server, logging, and monitoring platforms;
- Product-data providers used to enrich ASINs and Amazon product data;
- Support and communications providers used to respond to requests and send service messages.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or similar process, or if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect SellerLens, users, third parties, or the public. If Seller Lens LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to this Privacy Policy or a successor policy.
4. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
SellerLens may use browser local storage, Chrome extension storage, cookies, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain billing or plan-selection state, support password recovery and email verification flows, protect against abuse, and understand service performance. You can clear local browser data through your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or remove saved preferences.
5. Chrome Extension Data
The SellerLens extension runs in your browser and is designed to analyze supported Amazon search result pages when you launch or use the extension. The extension may read product identifiers and page context from those pages, send ASINs to SellerLens servers for enrichment, store authentication state in Chrome storage, and display or export results in your browser. SellerLens does not need your Amazon account password.
6. Billing Data
Stripe or another payment processor handles payment collection. SellerLens receives billing metadata needed to associate your account with a customer, subscription, checkout session, setup session where trials are offered, invoice, payment status, and trial eligibility state where applicable. Payment processors process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide SellerLens, maintain accounts and billing records, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud and abuse, including repeat trial abuse where trials are offered, and maintain security. Some operational logs may be retained for shorter periods. Some billing, audit, and abuse-prevention records may be retained after account closure where reasonably necessary.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for using a strong password, protecting your devices, limiting access to your account, and contacting us if you believe your account has been compromised.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some requests may be limited by legal, billing, security, anti-fraud, or operational requirements. You may also cancel subscriptions through the account billing portal when available and may uninstall the Chrome extension through your browser.
10. California and Other State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and whether a specific privacy law applies to Seller Lens LLC, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of certain personal information, and to appeal a decision on a privacy request. You may exercise available rights by emailing support@sellerlens.app. We do not sell personal information and do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
